Buakaw vs. Souwer in World MAX Final 2006

I previously wrote some entries here and here about Buakaw and his shakeup on the K-1 Kickboxing scene. Here he is again fighting Dutch phenom Andy Souwer for the World MAX Final 2006.

After a loss by decision to Souwer in last year’s K-1 MAX Final, Buakaw has noticably improved his head movement and boxing skills. That in combination with his already savage knees and kicks makes the young fighter a very dangerous opponent. In other words, DAMN this kid’s got some muffukin skills. I mentioned previously that he didn’t have knockout power in his hands, but as the video shows… I stand corrected.

Buakaw is a very strong Muay Thai fighter. When I first watch the match, I thought Buakaw may have a trouble from his kick because it seems to be injored by Souwer’s elbow .

His KO winning was so great.

Muay Thai stuff, your site is hot! Nice gear too!

Yeah, Buakaw is more dangerous than ever now. Souwer apparently had previously talked trash saying how even Buakaw was afraid of his hands…only to get KOed by Buakaw’s punches.
